The Division of Information Technology of the Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa (ITUM), successfully organized an industry visit to WSO2, a globally recognized software company, as part of its initiative to provide students with meaningful exposure to real-world industry practices. Due to logistical limitations, the visit was conducted in two phases to accommodate the full student cohort.
During the visit, students were introduced to the corporate environment, software development workflows, essential industry-relevant skills, and team collaboration strategies. The session also provided valuable guidance on how to effectively prepare for industrial training and future career opportunities in the IT sector.
This initiative aligns with ITUM’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic instruction and the dynamic demands of the technology industry.
