The Division of Information Technology at ITUM proudly hosted the වර්ණ Pixel 2025 Exhibition, an inspiring showcase of student creativity and digital artistry. Organized under the IT 2302 Applied Computer Graphics and Multimedia Technologies module, the event provided a platform for students to present their original design work created using professional tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
This year’s exhibition featured over 40 digital designs submitted by students, exploring a wide range of themes and styles — from modern conceptual art to visually striking realistic compositions. A panel carefully selected the top 30 designs for public exhibition based on their creativity, technical execution, and visual impact.
Adding prestige to the event, Mr. Prabhath Josua, CEO of Residue Solutions, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, Mr. Josua commended the students’ innovative thinking and emphasized the growing importance of digital design in today’s tech-driven industries. His presence and words of encouragement were a valuable inspiration to both students and staff.
The exhibition was also attended by the Director of ITUM, academic staff, and students from across the institute. It concluded with the presentation of awards to the top three designers, whose work stood out for its originality, concept clarity, and design excellence.
The Warna Pixel Exhibition successfully highlighted the intersection of technology and creativity, offering students a professional platform to express their talents and gain recognition. It served not only as a celebration of artistic skill but also as a motivation for future batches to push the boundaries of digital media.
