All students during their first semester and second semester undergoes hands on experience at the metal shop. Four sub branches, Sheet metal, Welding, Foundry and Forging practices are conducted at the metal shop. Student get an opportunity understand and as well as gain hands on experience on different manufacturing and assembly process at the metal shop. Different welding methods, such as arc welding, gas welding, TIG, MIG, submerged welding process are demonstrated at the shop. Well qualified and skilled workers are working at the metal shop. Other than to the practical, those facilities are given to carryout student project work too.
