Appeal for an Additional Examination Attempt – 2018/2019 Intake and 2019/2020 Intake

With reference to the Committee Report on Review Requests for an Additional Examination Attempt of the NDT 2018/2019 Intake and 2019/2020 Intake, it has been recommended that students who have exceeded the maximum period of five academic years may be considered for an additional opportunity, subject to the recommendations of the Board of Appeals and the Board of Studies and approval of the Board of Management, where their studies have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, students of the above Intake whose studies were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and who have exceeded the maximum period of five academic years are hereby requested to submit an appeal for consideration of an additional examination attempt. The appeal should clearly state the circumstances in which the student’s studies were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and provide any relevant supporting documents, where applicable.

Students are requested to submit their appeals to the Examination Division on or before 30th November 2026. All appeals will be considered in accordance with the relevant procedures and will be subject to the recommendation of the Board of Studies and approval of the Board of Management.
