Aptitude Test for the selection of students for National Diploma in Technology
2023/2024 Intake
Aptitude test for the admission of National Diploma in Technology 2022/2023 Intake will be held on 7th April 2024.
The list of eligible applicants to appear for the aptitude test, their Examination Index Numbers and the respective examination centers are uploaded in the following link. Letters have been already posted to the eligible applicants.

Examination Guidelines:
- Aptitude test paper will be in Sinhala, Tamil or English medium for applicants of respective medium. (You may refer the model questions papers uploaded in the same above link for your reference.)
- This letter and duly filled attestation form will serve as the admission letter for the test. Therefore, you are required to bring this letter, attestation form and your National Identity Card/ Passport to prove your identity.
- Applicants who do not possess these documents will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and appear for the test, under any circumstances.
- Answer sheets will be provided to you at the examination and you are required to bring ballpoint pens.
- All candidates are required to be present at the examination hall half an hour prior to the commencement of the examination (9.00 a.m.)
- Please note that Calculators, Cellular Phones, Digital Diaries and any other Communication devices are not permitted to be brought into the Examination Hall. Please note that, possession of such equipment will be treated as an examination offence
Important:
Please note that it is compulsory to appear for the aptitude test in order to be eligible for the consideration for selection of National Diploma in Technology, and the marks of the aptitude test would also be considered in selecting the field of study of a selected candidate.
