It has come to our attention that the Professor O.P. Kulshetra award, which was mistakenly awarded to Ms. M.D. Ishanthi (Reg. No. 2K/IT/CV/048) on 02.03.2006, has been recalled by the Examination Division.
We are pleased to announce that the Council, University of Moratuwa at its 514th meeting held on 04.10.2023, has confirmed the recommendation of the Students' Awards Committee of the ITUM to grant this prestigious award to the rightful recipient, Mr. W.N.S. Fernando (Reg. No. 2K/IT/NT/266).
The official certificate was awarded to Mr. W.N.S. Fernando on 20.08.2024. Consequently, Ms. M.D. Ishanthi is no longer eligible for this award.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and congratulate Mr. Fernando on this well-deserved recognition.
