The ITUM Sports Club created history by hosting its first-ever Carrom Tournament, "Carrom Fiesta," captivating both participants and spectators alike. This iconic event not only brought together students from various disciplines but also showcased the university's commitment to promoting inclusivity, teamwork, and friendly competition. With enthusiasm running high, participants demonstrated their skills on the carrom board, creating an exhilarating atmosphere throughout the tournament.
"Carrom Fiesta" marked the first carrom tournament organized by the ITUM Sports Club's Carrom team. The tournament took place in June 2023 at the University, with students from the 20/21 and 21/22 batches participating. Participants engaged in matches, including singles and doubles, displaying their talent and competitive spirit. Certificates were awarded to the winners and runners-up to acknowledge their outstanding performances.
The event was attended by the Director of ITUM, Heads of Academic Divisions, the lecturer in charge of Sports Studies, and other academic staff members, along with the Instructors of the Physical Education Unit of ITUM.
