As highlighted in ITUM's Strategic Plan, the ongoing adoption and maintenance of 5S principles are crucial for fostering a high-quality work environment. On 11th September 2024 the 5S Implementation Committee in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) at ITUM launched the ‘Cleaning Day – 2024’ initiative.
This event aimed to reinforce the institution's commitment to the continuous application of 5S practices which focus on improving workplace organization, cleanliness, and efficiency. Both academic and non-academic staff actively participated by tidying up and organizing their workspaces aligning with our broader goal of boosting productivity and enhancing overall workplace conditions.
