‘Expression of Art’ Final Production Event Show

The Semester I 2023/24 students' final Aesthetic production event "Expression of Art"(Dance, Music, Drama and Theater , Visual Art) was held from 23rd to 25^th of June 2025 at ITUM premises under the immense guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) D.D.G.A.D.S.Saparamadu, Head of the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies. The event also benefited from the expertise of other internal and visiting staff academics, Ms. Ayesha Sandagiri, Ms. H.M. Nipuni Herath, Ms. Dureksha Gayani, Ms. D. Rangana Dissanayake and Ms. Lakshani Jayathilake from each respective field.

This event served as the final assessment for students in the Aesthetic Module. It featured a vibrant Visual Art Exhibition, held for four days in the Personal Relations area at ITUM. The exhibition featured an impressive collection of arts and crafts. Adding an extra layer of excitement, live art performances were conducted throughout the exhibition. These interactive sessions not only brought the artworks to life but also invited participation from the audience, including the Director of ITUM, who actively engaged in the creative process.

Along with the Visual Art Exhibition, the event also featured exciting stage performances featuring Dance, Music, Stage drama and short Films. These performances brought more energy and variety to the event, making it lively and enjoyable for everyone.

The talent show was made even more memorable with the active participation. Heads of Divisions, staff members, and students joined together to create an inspiring and engaging experience.

The primary goal of this event was to create an opportunity for individuals to display their talents while encouraging the growth of critical thinking, self-expression, and creativity.
