The Division of Information Technology successfully organized a React.js workshop for NDT 2023/2024 batch students in Semester III on 5th June 2026, providing participants with valuable hands-on experience in modern front-end web development.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Chirath Didulanga, Senior Software Engineer at Axiata Digital Labs, who shared his industry expertise and practical knowledge with the students. The session focused on introducing React.js, one of the most widely used JavaScript libraries for building dynamic and interactive user interfaces in modern web applications.
By working on practical examples and interacting with an industry professional, students were able to enhance their technical competencies and gain insights into current trends and expectations in the software industry. The workshop was highly beneficial and contributed significantly to preparing students for future academic projects, internships, and careers in software engineering and web development.
