Integrated Ship Design Lab is a new methodology that takes into account all the requirements and constraints from the early stages of the ship design process. The aim is to create a final product that functions well, is technologically adequate, and economically effective.
All fields of naval architecture and marine engineering have been involved in the development of the laboratory and will continue to play a key role. The laboroatory is expected to drive deeper knowledge in these areas with the help of new instruments and the development of new methodologies and procedures to improve the design of ships, while saving time and reducing the costs.
